Nicole's presentation "Implementation of a lung cancer multidisciplinary team standardized template for reporting to general practitioners: a mixed methods study" was very well received, showcasing how a lung cancer MDT supports GPs to be kept well informed of the care their patients are receiving, enabling GPs to provide continuous care for their patients undergoing cancer treatment in a timely and transparent manner. As a result of the brilliant work and evaluation, MDTs in other streams wish to take up this approach for themselves. I have seen more people beat cancer and it's really a great sight to see. People young and old being given a second chance in life. I can't help but think maybe they had only been tested as false positive. I heard someone say if you get cured from cancer, maybe it wasn't cancer in the first place. I think they are being overly negative about this when it's true that all it takes for someone to heal from any kind of disease is a positive outlook in life.
