Nicole's presentation "Implementation of a lung cancer multidisciplinary team standardized template for reporting to general practitioners: a mixed methods study" was very well received, showcasing how a lung cancer MDT supports GPs to be kept well informed of the care their patients are receiving, enabling GPs to provide continuous care for their patients undergoing cancer treatment in a timely and transparent manner. As a result of the brilliant work and evaluation, MDTs in other streams wish to take up this approach for themselves. Nicole is Senior Research Fellow at Cancer Council NSW, and her research was funded by Cancer Australia working with Sydney Catalyst TCRC, Gemma Collett, Clare Brown, Tim Shaw, Kahren White, Philip Beale, Lyndal Trevena, Cleola Anderiesz, and David Barnes.
